Transport Day at the Skanzen

How did people get around in the past? What modes of transport were used for travelling alone or in groups? What sort of bicycles were around at the turn of the century that we now find strange? How can a bicycle be modified to generate energy? Why is public transport important today? We’ll be looking for answers to countless questions, showcasing a variety of vehicles and contraptions, some of which you’ll even be able to try out. With the ‘Robog a Skanzen’ transport day, we’re linking up with the European Mobility Week’s theme of intergenerational mobility. We’re welcoming people of all ages with fun activities, craft workshops, book presentations and guided tours.
