With the Skanzen app, anyone can easily become their own tour guide!
One of the most important features of the app is undoubtedly the interactive map. It not only shows where we are, but also provides information about all the main attractions of the given area – in addition to general descriptions, interesting facts are also available, some of which can even be listened to!

Thematic Tours
Exploring the Skanzen – due to its size and richness – is a multi-day program. We also know that it’s easy to get lost in the details, which is why we’ve put together Thematic Tours to help. With these, anyone can plan ahead or decide when they arrive at the museum what route and how long they would like to explore the different areas of the museum. Currently, 17 thematic tours are available in the app, ranging from regional walks and bike tours to film tours showcasing the filming locations of the Skanzen.
Skanzen Game
A game that is only available on the Skanzen grounds and through the app. We have hidden QR codes in our regions, and if you manage to find them and correctly answer the question after scanning the code, you will be rewarded with a surprise at our Gift Shop at the end of the game.
