On Saturday, 5 September 2026, the Skanzen will welcome individual visitors with a modified visitor schedule.
Tickets and parking
Individual visitors receive a 50% discount on the full-price admission ticket on this day. Other discounts are available according to the Skanzen’s general ticketing conditions.
Important parking information: The visitor car park will be closed on this day. Please use the alternative car park located 50 metres before the visitor car park. Tickets can be purchased on site.

The Korzó Coffee House will be open, offering hot meals and pastries in addition to its regular selection.
Not available on 5 September
Market Town in the Great Hungarian Plain, Southern Transdanubia, Western Transdanubia and Little Hungarian Plain exhibition units will be closed to visitors on this day.
The Skanzen Restaurant, Portéka Shop, Skanzen Bakery, Chandler's store and Mád Wine Cellar will also be closed.
The Skanzen Train is not available to individual visitors on this day; we will be able to offer train journeys on other opening days during the season.
Bicycles and small carts cannot be hired on this day either.
